Bought two new books today. Technically, they fall under the exemptions category for books; I needed them for work but I didn't need-need-need them and so I felt a bit guilty about it. I did look in the library and the used bookstore in our area before buying them. I could have looked further afield; it's clear that it would be easier to buy no more new things if I had more time to seek out used or borrowed versions of things I need.
